Hey guys-I know people say you need X amount of sleep when trying to add muscle or you may get negative or neutral effects because of the cortisol increase. But what happens if (like me);
* You work 8 hours a day 5 days a week at one job (9AM to 5PM)
* 3 hours 30 3 days a week at another job (after job 1-6PM to 9.30PM)
* Spend ages larking around with dinner/getting ready for bed
*Go to the gym (3x a week) on days I don’t go to job #2
* Have only Sundays to lie in?
I will barely be getting my 7 hours minimum sleep RDA since I take ages getting ready for bed/work! Is there any natural cortisol busters that can help me so I still make positive gains? All I can think of doing is:
* Decreasing cardio as it’s counterproductive to bodybuilding (i’m a hardgainer)
* Having a natural caffienated beverage/ black tea (when is the best time-with breakfast,before workouts or on its own?)
*Having just a hint of glucose preworkout (with my protein and complex carbs-not too much-just to pick up)
*Having metabolism raising foods
*Having natural stress relief foods
Oh yeah-I sometimes get up to go for a pee if I have a glass or 2 of water before bed (which I need with dinner and also to make up for the lack of it during the day). There goes another 15 minutes of sleep!
How can one get better QUALITY sleep to make up for the lack of quantity?

Dang son, it takes you fifteen minutes to urinate? You need to see a doctor.
Nap when you can. Power napping is great.
Drink your water during the day. No one can deny a plastic container filled with water. Water is life.
Quit larking. Get serious. You have an agenda. Get to it.
Total activity to total lack of on Sunday cannot be good.
First and foremost should be your good health.
